Existing FIRM map showed large areas of residential and commercial to be inundated by the 100-year floodplain.
The Solution
City of Forest Hill retained us to determine the actual floodplain limits. This resulted in virtually every home and every business being removed from the 100-year floodplain without any improvements being required of the existing channel.
